The Anchor
People have asked more than once why Marine PAL penetrating oil has an anchor on the label instead of a boat or a ships wheel. Marine PAL is not an ordinary marine penetrating oil, and if you look closely at the label, that is not an ordinary anchor symbol.
That is a replica of the Forfjord Safety Anchor, the worlds finest anchor. We are using it with the permission of the Forfjord Supply Co. located in Seattle WA. This marine anchor has made its fine reputation in Alaska and Pacific Northwest waters off the coast of British Columbia, before it spread down to California , into the gulf of Mexico, and over to the east coast. More and more of them are being used on the Great Lakes as well.
While this boat anchor was developed for the brutal commercial fishing industry in Alaska, many yacht owners and pleasure boaters have discovered that when you need an anchor, you need one that really works.
