The Union Gospel Mission can always use more volunteers. Many area churches have a part in what we do here. Once a month, some send speakers to do our evening service, some provide the meal, and some do both. We always have room on our calendar for a new church to join with us in sharing the gospel of Christ, as well as food.
Volunteers can be of help in many other areas as well. We welcome those who are skilled carpenters, painters, plumbers, or mechanics.
During the Christmas season we distribute gifts to the needy. This endeavor takes many hours of collecting, sorting, and wrapping and cannot be accomplished without plenty of volunteer help.
