Our recreational activities in this area are almost all your old time, rural, non structured, hands on type. We are really not to competitive, except in the loyalty to our schools, the pace is much slower here.Fishing
Hoppy Jones of Raymond, fishing on the Willapa River hooked and landed a 41 inch long and almost a foot across, huge 50 pound King. Hoppy "79", said its the biggest fish he has ever caught and fought it for over 20 minutes. Caught in about 20 feet of water. near Marker 29.using herring for bait.
