  • Hi Rick! Thank you so much for a truly wonderful class. It is superior by far to the other class I took this spring. You covered more skills and really insured everyone felt comfortable with each one before you moved on. • I keep referring people to you. I think that you do an awesome job training new people how to ride, which will change their lives forever. The job you do will bring pleasure to a lot of people. • Rick, I just wanted to tell you that I passed the Motorcycle skills test in Lacey, and I owe a lot of it to you. • Greetings Rick and Mario! I thought this class was outstanding in every way and my compliments to both of you in regard to your instruction methodology. Both of you critiqued without being critical, instructed with an infinite amount of patience and laughed at our mistakes. Your class was the most enjoyable setting (as far as training) that I have attended in the last ten years! I truly wish I could do it all over again. Terry B. December, 2003
  • Rick; I'd like to thank you and Mario and Richard for all your help and work. I know it's a bit late now, but I'd like to thank the three of you and the rest of the class for all your support and inspiration, and fun! I'll be back! Bob F. December, 2003
  • Hi Rick! Season's Greetings! I revisited the Grays Harbor Motorcycle home page and wanted to share...This is the best tuition I've invested in years! Rick's and Mario's quality approach to instruction created a class environment that was welcoming and very supportive, especially for new and novice riders. Coming to a place where you are encouraged to succeed and build to confidence to ride well is priceless. Marie G. December, 2003
  • Hi Rick and Mario, It's been a few months (November 2003) since I took my safety course there in Aberdeen, but I was the tall guy who flew in from St. Louis for the weekend. • Rick, Mario, Richard - Jan and I would like to express our great pleasure with your training course. It was a very informative and fun weekend. Your training methods were all excellent in creating a very comfortable and supportive environment for both new and seasoned riders. We both really appreciate the effort and the professionalism shown to us. Your outstanding support, assistance and direction really builds the confidence and skills needed for riding now and in the future.… Not to mention the new friends we met and will see on the road. Once again keep up the great work and ride on……We will and have recommended your course to any new riding friends…. Dan and Jan M. April, 2004
  • Rick and Mario - Thanks for everything, sorry for my mind meltdowns. The class was a blast and I will send everyone I can encourage and guide your way! I will write a testimonial for you anytime. Greg S. April, 2004
  • Rick and Mario ~ Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time in your motorcycle safety class. Your positive attitude along with all of my great classmates made this quite an enriching experience. I learned more than I ever thought possible; I even managed to correct a few bad habits that I've picked up over the years! I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in motorcycling! It doesn't get any better than this! Thanks again Rick, happy safe riding!.........Neill S. April, 2004
  • Hi Rick, Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how much I enjoyed the class this weekend. I especially appreciate your including me when every other class seemed full well into fall; it really made my summer available to me to ride. Both Gwen and you seem really dedicated to the program and it shows in all that you do. Your interest and enthusiasm for the success of your students creates an atmosphere of encouragement and support. Even those who had never ridden before were able to overcome their initial fears and discover "I can do this!" I can't imagine how many people are indebted to you and Gwen for a safe and pleasant motorcycle experience. Once again, thank you for an informative and pleasant experience. Oh,...and on Tuesday morning I had the "#3" stamped on my license,... Vroom Vrrrrrooom!! John W. May, 2004
  • I would have to say that I had more fun than I can remember in a long time and I was actually learning something. When I signed up I was very nervous, but once I got to class on Friday night I met a group of great people and Rick was right we were there to learn but we were also there to have fun. Rick made learning both in the classroom and on the course a learning, yet fun and relaxing experience. Rick and Gwen were very patient with all of us, and they were only concerned about our safety. I felt that even when I did something wrong and had to be corrected it was done in a positive way and for my own good. All Rick and Gwen wanted was for all us to go away with the knowledge we needed to continue to practice and enjoy the experience of safe riding. I would recommend this course to anyone whether you have never ridden or if you are just learning to be a safer riding. I walked away with a feeling of great accomplishment and a feeling that I made some great friends and great memories and could stop by anytime to just say Hi. Thanks for making a life long dream come true. Thanks again for a great learning experience and most of all for your caring nature. Kathie M. May, 2004
  • Rick, Now that I have caught my breath, I just felt that I had to write to you and tell you how I felt about the weekend that my wife and I spent with you learning at the BRC class. On the first day you hit the ground running and started building everyone's confidence by giving us task that you knew we would be able to complete. You set us up to succeed not fail, and that is one of the biggest things a teacher has to do. I think you wanted all of us to pass more than we did. Also, Gwen was great. She was really able to connect with the wife, which in turn helped her pass. In closing I just want to thank you for the time and effort you put into all of your students. You made the class fun, but also instilled the desire to be safe at all times. By the way, I took my new bike out on a trip to Aberdeen this morning and it felt great. I kept hearing eeeeeease, keep my hand off the brake, and I had the urge to make orange juice-HAHAHA. But seriously, You have one the best teaching groups I have ever had the honor of learning from. Dan P. May, 2004
  • Hello Rick & Mario; I had an experience over the Memorial day weekend that I just had to write You about, as I feel very strongly that the things I learned in Your class saved my life. I was driving along the Redwood highway with fellow GWRRA chapter "I" members, enjoying the twisties, when in a tight cornering maneuverI felt my front tire begin to lose traction and steering. It turned out that my valve stem had separated from the rim and my tire deflated rapidly. I was at a considerable lean and headed for certain disaster when your training kicked in, I got the bike straight up and was able to safely stop before going over the edge of the road into the river below. I am thankful that the training I received from You and Mario was still fresh in my mind and that I was able to utilize what I learned, due to Your excellent teaching. Thanks to You and Mario for literally saving my life, I owe You one.......Bear - June, 2004
  • Rick & Mario - I wanted to thank you for all the patience and all the knowledge that you both have to teach this class........AGAIN THANK YOU BOTH!! Anita V. - June, 2004
  • Rick, Again, I would like to thank you and Richard for putting together and conducting an excellent class. The information was invaluable. It has helped me to correct bad habits and start new habits. Thank you for making the class as informative as it was fun. Dale S. - July, 2004
  • Rick, I wanted to thank you for the BRC class that I had just recently taken from you. A couple of days after the class I was riding my motorcycle and had the misfortune of hitting a deer. A lot of people said I was lucky that I didn't get seriously hurt, and some of that is true. But what they didn't know is I kept my head, and applied my training skills that I had learned in your class. Thank you sincerely for teaching me how to brake properly! Rick S. - July, 2004
  • Hello Rick and Gwen, I want to thank Rick, Gwen and all the GHME, LLC staff for the wonderful time we had together. I spent a weekend learning with the best teachers. Particularly I want to thank Rick, because finding a person who cares so much about his students is not such a frequent thing.....and that makes him a great teacher; well, let`s be honest, the greatest. I was impressed by his many decades of riding experience, but certainly even more impressed by his care for every single student and his patience (and I know it takes a lot of patience to teach me)....I really felt attentively followed in every step I took during this three day experience by both teachers; always provided with the right piece of advice when I needed it, the right encouragement in front of a difficult exercise, the right constructive criticism in front of a mistake and rewarding words when I was able to achieve a goal (and believe me this was of greatest satisfaction). So thanks again to you all, with you I realized a dream of mine (learning how to ride, although I know there still is a long way in front of me) in the best way possible, and the stickers already on my helmet to always remember these three days. Lorenzo G. - July, 2004
  • Dear Rick & Mario: I am the proud and VERY HAPPY owner of a brand new V-Star 650. We bought it from one of your sponsors. I felt confident enough to ride home, after a short practice. It was awesome, but I was only able to do it because of what you guys taught me. I remembered to keep my eyes scanning ahead and behind. Your instructions on how to look ahead to where you want to go really came in handy on the curves! What fun! Anyway, thanks so much for providing such important instruction. Jody H. - August, 2004
  • Mr. Fred Stephens, Director, Dept of Licensing: I recently took the MSF BRC course in Aberdeen given by Grays Harbor Motorcycle Education, LLC. The class and range instruction given by Rick Jenkins & Mario Winkelman was first rate. All students, regardless of their riding experience were treated with courtesy, humor, and lots of patience by Rick & Mario. I have in the past taken an MSF BRC course, and the on and off motorcycle lessons given by GHME, LLC is far and above superior to the previous class. I would urge anyone seeking their motorcycle endorsement to take the class at GHME, LLC. Harry R. - August, 2004
  • Mr Rick, It was so good and such a pleasure to see you and Mario. You both were wonderful keeping my confidence in upper gear. I want to Thank You for having the class you do, the personality and kind heart you have. One more thing off my dream list that I can say is now a reality, and when I get the bike another item I can check off on my "dream" list. Ronda S. - August, 2004
  • Rick, Today I finally hit the road for my first ride after the class. WOW! Riding is so much easier and MORE FUN!!! Thank you so much for you and Mario's instruction. I am now out preaching the gospel of your class. Encouraging other riders to sign up. Again, Thank you very much!!! Mark S. - August, 2004
  • Rick, I just wanted to drop you an email and thank you for the wonderful experience I had in your class. The class was even more enjoyable and educational than I expected. Thank you again for the wonderful experience. Who knew learning could be so much fun. Kris O. - August, 2004
  • Hi, Rick and Mario, From Ed: I rode last evening at our local high school to practice and completed it 80% of the time (20 practices) whereas I was at 10% before the class. I'm really excited about taking AND PASSING the WADOL test now. Thanks to you guys and your persistence with a touch case as I readily admit. From Joan: If you used to ride, even way back in the kick start and no-endorsement-required days, THIS course and THESE teachers are the way for you to safely re-enter the motorcycle fun times. I had 18 years if experience riding from 1968 in Texas on a 80 to California and Washington on a 250 and finally a 450 by 1974 thru 1986. Then my husband and I were serious boaters. Now, 2 weeks before I retire, I have graduated from the BRC and feel ready to buy a 650! My old self-taught skills have been scrubbed (by Rick and Mario) of the bad habits, and I have safe and effective skills to use. I knew by 10:30 on Saturday morning that my old skills were coming back in that safe range environment and I wasn't bored while Rick and Mario made sure the two rank beginners were not getting behind. Sometimes they learned faster because I had stuff to unlearn. Bu Sunday after lunch when we got to play and practice before the evaluation, I had the confidence to pass the skill tests and make plans. So my main emphasis is to encourage re-entry riders to go for it! Joan & Ed D. - August, 2004
  • Hello Rick and Gwen; Thanks for the splendid Labor Day Weekend of fun, And most of all Motorcycle Safety. I was extremely nervous most of the time, But You and Gwen really helped build my confidence to a reasonable level, through the whole course. I have to say I was pretty choked up when you handed me that completion card. I know for a fact that this training will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thanks Rick and Gwen! Ralph (Rusty) B. - September, 2004
  • Hi, Rick. Thanks for your excellent training and hosting one of the most fun weekends I have ever had - Rich G. - September, 2004
  • Hi Rick!  I just wanted to let you know again how much fun I had last weekend! Amazing what you can learn in 2 ½ days! Best of luck! I’ll be sending people your way!  Kris N. & the Busa – September, 2004
  • Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Clause and Virginia there is also a great Motorcycle Education Course and its in Aberdeen. I completed the course on Sept. 19th. It was a super experience. The course itself is great, but the Instructors really made the event enjoyable. There knowledge was vast and there instructional methods were superb. Their greatest asset was their enthusiasm and dedication to the students. Their emphasis on safety procedures and equipment confirmed my belief that I had professionals for instructors. Thank You****** GWEN and MARIO***** Bob S. - September 2004
  • Rick and Richard, I would like to thank both of you for your expert teaching skills. I enrolled in your class not knowing what to expect and was frankly quite worried about passing. I was amazed at how much I had learned and only had a few bad habits to break, and they are now gone! I was able to learn some excellent skills for avoiding any mishaps during my biking adventures. All I can say is if anyone asks me about taking the class I will point them in your direction in a instant, especially seeing how you two were able to help out the other students. Just wanted to say Thanks! Chris Q. - October 2004
  • This course is for all riders both experienced and inexperienced. The skill level that they teach and that you learn is the best and highest available. Along with that they make sure you break those bad riding habits you had previously. Rick's main concern is for his people to ride safe and defensively. I was recommended by friends to take the class and I also am recommending my friends to take the class. Marilyn W. - November 2004
  • Dear Rick and everyone at GHME, LLC (especially Gwen!), Sorry this is so late, but I really wanted to thank you all for the wonderful Basic Rider Course that my Dad (Darrell K) and I attended in December 2004. Gwen and her helper Kris (I hope I remembered her name right!) were both terrific and very helpful. The one-on-one instruction was so helpful, and we were so glad that we took the class. It was really great, and I will heartily recommend it to anyone interested in riding. Thanks again, and I'll see you on the road! Valerie S. - January 2005
  • Rick & Gwen, Just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to learn to ride a motorcycle. The $100 was money well spent. I learned way more than I ever would have on my own and had a great time doing it! Keep up the good work and thanks again. Dustin R. - February 2005
  • Hello Gwen, I want to thank you for this past weekend and the support you gave (Both yourself and Rick). I was pretty embarrassed of myself to have that level of anxiety. I do however understand why but, none the less I am very great full to be past that stage of learning. You and Rick helped to work me through my mental block and self imposed limitations. Now that I am just beyond that I can start enjoying what I have learned. Becky A. - February 2005
  • Well Rick, I just wanted to thank you and Mario for making our drive from Snohomish worthwhile and my weekend the best learning experience I've ever had. The class portion of the course was not only very instructive, but the best time and most fun I've ever had in a classroom! The practical skills on the riding course taught me many new skills and helped me unlearn some unwanted ones from riding on my own without instruction. Mario and you always kept me aware of not only the proper way of "how" to do it, but more importantly "why" to do the skills you demonstrated. Then you kindly made sure I stayed true to those instructions. I recommend your course to everyone who ever considered sitting on a motorcycle seat and starting the engine. You taught me how to be safer and smarter on two wheels. Thanks again! Guy B. - March 2005
  • So Dear Mr. Rick and Mr. Mario, I am home safely and have a wonderful new set of baselines and thresholds to play with. Thank you both very much. The two of you do this rain or shine how many weekends of each year? That's dedication to not only the 'sport' but 'chivalry' in the oldest sense of the word. Your sharing of your time and knowledge and experience with us is an act of unselfish courtesy. May all of us remember that lesson as well. So gentlemen, thank you again. I hope to see both of you on the road in the future. PS - I had fun. Julia W. - April 2005
  • Rick and Mario-Here is a testimonial that I think would be appropriate for GHME, LLC's web page ....My wife and I came to your course with the desire to get our certificates in lue of the WDOT test. What we left with was much more confidence and skills to be SAFE, all taught be people who truly CARE. We traveled all the way from Lake Stevens (150 miles) to take the course from GHME, LLC. . . and it was worth the extra time/effort. For those of you in the greater Seattle area . . . head to Gray's Harbor Motorcycle Education LLC . . …. the experience they will provide you is worth your extra travel. Kevin and Christy K. - April 2005
  • Hi Rick, It's been a while since class but I wanted to let you know that I had a great time. For someone who hasn't been in a classroom for ages, I found it very easy to acclimate. I like your style of teaching and felt that I learned a lot. The range training was great. I became more confident with handling my own bike. I'll stop by the range with the "demon goddess" when I'm out and about. Thanks, again for being a great instructor! Darla B. - May 2005
  • Rick, I just wanted to send you a note of thanks. I had much more fun this time around, and you and Gwen truly care about every student, and it shows so well. I felt much more confident this time, and the course was not the big bad wolf I made it in my mind. I am very excited that I have passed the class (I already got my new drivers license, and much better picture). I am referring everyone I know to take your course, you make it fun!!!!! Again thank you for all your support and training. You guys are the best!! I hope to be back next year for the experience rider's course. Suzi H. - May 2005
  • This testimonial is long overdue. In July of 2004, I took the course in the Puget Sound area. It was a very horrible experience, not only for me, but several others in the group. I won't even go into details, but I will say that it cost me any confidence I did have. I finally picked up the phone and talked to Rick, and something about my conversation with him made me determined to do this again, get my confidence back, and not give up. If you could see the smile on my face when I ride now, you'd never believe I was that "stripped of confidence" rider that showed up the first day at his class! Gwen and Mario were awesome, I can't say enough about their encouragement, and they probably had a bigger chore than normal, having to build me up again. This wasn't just about me though. I saw them take beginners that had never been on a bike before at all, and you would never know it by day 3! It was incredible to watch! When the course was all done, I remembered the words said; "to take it slow, practice, practice, practice in the parking lot until our confidence was up to take it on the street," and I heeded that. You guys were awesome! You put the smile on my face, and it is more than I that appreciates you for that! My husband, my kids, my friends..... it was worth every penny. I told them what I tell everyone. "Not all classes are equal, and I can guarantee a good experience there at yours!" Thank you doesn't say enough, but thank you! Keep doing what you are doing. I really hope you realize you make a difference, and that you are different in a very good way! I hope anyone else that has been through a bad experience like mine too, reads the testimonials, and gets the strength to give it one more shot! Bree W. - May 2005
  • Hey Guys, Thanks again for a great class you made it an easy and enjoyable experience. I look forward attending the class again with my wife plus you advanced class I will recommend your class to any one who wants to learn how to ride. I look forward to seeing you both again some time in class on the course or on the road. Thank you again Tim K. - June 2005
  • Hi Rick, Just wanted you to know that I loved your class. I had several people recommend it to me and they all loved it as well. I can't tell you how much more confident I feel after our weekend together. "Safety is the biggest part of my profession. I have been through many other safety courses in the past from emergency vehicles, to industrial. This is by far the best safety class that I have taken. The curriculum is awesome and is structured to adult learning. That combined with the vast experience of the staff makes for a class that is second to none. Rick and his staff truly care about every individual and everyone who takes it will learn regardless of experience level." Brad P. - June 2005
  • Hey Rick, this is Jed from your latest class. I really appreciated the learning experience from your course. Your instructions, and the bikes you & sponsors (PowerSports NW, South Sound Honda, Pacific Marine & Motorsports) provided made it very easy to give me a fresh start. I had picked up a couple of bad habits due to having no prior professional instruction. Although I'd practiced on my bike for around 300 miles locally I didn't feel as confident in certain situations & techniques as I do now. My bike was particularly difficult to learn initially, partially because of my size. Some things on the course were easy for me and others were obviously not due to never doing them. The ERC course sounds like something I should consider. See you again soon. Jed V. - July 2005
  • Hi Rick. I hope things are well with you. I wanted to send in a testimonial for the class. With the rising price of gas, I bought a small motorcycle to commute with. Upon buying it, I had to promise my wife I would take a safety course before riding outside of our neighborhood. Every time I ride, I am glad I did. Not only was the class fun, but I met some great people and learned some valuable techniques that keep me safe every time I get on my bike. I have been saved countless times using the things I learned from the class, and I plan on taking the advanced class after I've been riding a while longer. Rick is a great instructor and makes everyone in the class feel at ease. In no time, Rick provides a comfortable atmosphere that makes learning a breeze. Arron K. - July 2005
  • I want to thank you Rick for having such an excellent class. My boyfriend Vlad and I came to your class 2 weeks ago. I was such a nervous wreck, thank you for being so patient with me. I felt so much more comfortable practicing on the Ninja now. I have already ridden it to work (no highways yet though). Thanks Again Kate and Vlad - July 2005
  • Dear Rick, A big thanks to you and Gwen for all the knowledge and moral support given to me. I learned so much, what a success. Maybe you should put this on your website, A woman who is grateful and loved your class even when not passing the first time. Please sign me up and send me the proper forms so I can repeat the class. I am ready! There is nothing more important then perseverance through life's endeavors. You are both great coaches. Thanks, Teri P. - July 2005
  • Dear Rick, I just finished your class today and I just wanted to thank you for leading me to success! Your down to earth approach and vast knowledge really set me at ease the first day. I believe I was the only one in the class from the harbor which just goes to show how positive word of mouth can really travel. I also truly believe that ridercoach Brad was a great asset to your program and I hope more people are as lucky as I was to learn from both of you. It's been a long time since I walked away from something learning as much as I did this weekend. Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Joe B. - July 2005
  • Definitely a great class to attend. Even after riding motorcycles of all kinds for better than 25 years, I still learned new things. The teaching staff were all excellent and easy to work with. Never even really felt like a class, more like a group of people who were getting together to ride and learn new things. The camaraderie between the instructors was an excellent reflection of the instruction that took place. Most all riders were "at ease" and seemed to enjoy the time spent riding and honing their newly acquired skills. I look forward to taking more class's with Rick. Dave W. - July 2005
  • Rick (and Mario), I want to express my appreciation for your commitment to educating motorcyclists. I am sure I can speak for Joe and Kristin as well. Your animated teaching style made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. You taught in a way that allowed us to learn the information and retain it. I appreciated both of your humor and the way you interacted with each other and with the students. It was so rewarding to see how the students supported and encouraged each other. In closing, thank you both again, for giving me the tools you did. You guys are awesome. Robyn G. - August 2005
  • Hi Rick and Mario, This is just a note to tell you both how much I enjoyed your class, you make everyone very comfortable and instill confidence to complete the course. Thank you again. I, as well, plan on returning with my bike after I ride for awhile, even though I could get a class here. I want to come back for your class. I have ridden my Suzuki S50 Boulevard to work (50 miles round trip) the last 2 days and have used the skills I learned many times. Each ride is getting better and better. Marge M. - August 2005
  • Rick, Keep up your great work. I can't thank you enough for what the class did for me. I love riding my own bike more than I ever imagined I would. Jody - August 2005
  • Rick, Sorry it has taken so long to get this note of thanks to you. I wanted to thank you for the professional, sincere work that you do. You are an inspiration to a novice rider like myself! Both you and Gwen gave positive and constructive feedback and encouragement. This last weekend I rented a motorcycle and my husband was pleasantly surprised with my riding ability. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to purchasing my own bike soon. Thanks again for the excellent dedicated work that you do. Marci S. - September 2005
  • Rick & Mario, Thanks for all of your kind words, your well appreciated advice, and your encouragement. Not only do I continue to be amazed by the quality of instruction, but also by the caliber of the people I meet at your classes. I am amazed and inspired by the lives you and they live. I cannot believe how much more I learned in the second class, despite it being a repeat for me. I am considering a third class because I didn't just learn one more thing, I learned several. Craig G. - September 2005
  • Rick, I was in the Sept. 9,10,11 class. I just wanted to tell you thanks for being such a patient, understanding, and cool instructor, oh... I mean "RiderCoach." You made learning to ride fun and relaxing. Matt M. - September 2005
  • Hi Rick, I hope all is going well with you guys. Tell Mario "hi" and I do remember him telling me "don't cover the front brake". I tell you, your voices in my head when I'm taking corners, etc... are my best friends. "look for your exit" works every single solitary time! Robyn G. - September 2005
  • Rick, Thank you so much for taking your time and energy to teach us how to ride a motorcycle. Frank just got back from taking your course and all he did for the past 45 minutes is talk about the course and the things that he learned from you and Gwen. You take care and please tell Gwen hello for Beccky and I. Doug A. - October 2005
  • Rick -I excitedly signed up with my husband, Jim, for your class, not knowing what it would entail and having no expectations; just the wonderment that after one short weekend of training I might be able to finally ride. Your class personalized riding for me. You skillfully led us through the class so that I did not know until afterward that my whole being had been enveloped in learning everything I possibly could. You and Mario taught me how to ride in one short weekend and I am so grateful for those frank, safe procedures that instilled confidence. I will try to stop by the range before the end of season to say it in person. Sheryl C. - October 2005
  • Dear Rick, Just wanted to drop a line to say "thank you". I really enjoyed the safety course and can't tell you how much I learned. I've spent many years in the back seat and never realized from there the importance of safety while in the drivers seat. Your teaching methods are wonderful! The class was fun, yet filled with important necessary safety tips. I can't wait to get my bike and implement what I've learned. Both you and Gwen are awesome teachers. Keep up the great work and I'll send everyone I know to GHME for their class. Your 1st rate! Tami W. - October 2005
  • Rick, this is Matt and I was in one of your September classes. I was going to wait until this spring to buy my bike, but I couldn't hold out any longer. Thanks to you and your class, I was completely comfortable hopping right on and riding it off the lot. I have about 300 miles on my ninja, and I'm out on the road when ever it is dry. I do want to thank you again for your commitment and love you have for riding, and your ability to share it with the community. I am planning on riding out there to Aberdeen this next spring to say hi. Your fellow rider, Matt D. - November 2005
  • Rick, Just wanted to say Thank You for the excellent Basic class this last July. I've been able to avoid several dangerous situations thanks to the skills you taught us. Merry Christmas to you and your staff. Greg M. - December 2005
  • Rick, here is another "testimonial" to the excellence of your class and teaching expertise. I have to say, however, that it was your training (and that of your staff) which got me through a recent "occurrence." Your training taught me to be confident, to take control and never leave your ride if at all possible. I recommend your course to every new rider I can, but especially to the returning riders. Carol Sue H. - March 2006
  • Rick & Gwen, I thoroughly enjoyed your class, and you both were such an inspiration, and you both very much tried to "calm" me about the course. The class was awesome and you both are excellent instructors! Full of riding knowledge and experience to share with was very reassuring. I'm so happy I took the class as it will most importantly give me the correct habits to make in all my rides and give me a great start to my riding experience. Thank you both so much!!! Patti B. - March 2006
  • Hello Rick! We'd like to thank you (and Gwen) very much for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. We learned a lot of very important and useful information for which we will definitely be using. We will be keeping in touch! Thanks again! Mike and Michelle R. - March 2006
  • Rick & Mario, I can’t thank each of you enough for what you have taught me, and for your patience with me, because sometimes I’m a slow learner. I will continue to support each of you in whatever way I can. I think as teachers and as role models you’re pretty special. Craig G. - April 2006
  • Rick & Gwen-I really liked how the class is structured. As soon as you walk into the class your instructing with everyone. You both did great jobs. I think Rick's personality makes the class. Kyle L. - May 2006
  • Rick........Thank you for presenting a lot of great and useful information while keeping a fun and interesting learning environment. Gabriel S. - May 2006
  • Rick, I thought and also heard from friends that this is an excellent class!!! I only had a motorcycle permit, but taking this class adds tremendous value - Thanks for caring! Ray C. - June 2006
  • Thanks Rick and Gwen-you're the best. Dan and I took your class this past weekend and it was the best money I have spent - even better investment than the money I spent on my bike! Riding a bike and controlling a bike are two very different things. Up until this weekend, I was only riding - now, I know what to do to control my bike and make it do what I need it to do to have fun and keep me out of trouble! I bought a 750 Magna for my first bike. I had never ridden before and the bike felt like a beast. After taking your class, I've got a new outlook and feel like I've got a whole new ride. The best part of the entire class is that I walked away learning to trust the bike. I can now say that I really do "enjoy the weave!" Best regards Kim B. - June 2006
  • Hello! I just wanted to say thank you again for being amazing instructors! I had never been in control of a motorcycle before, just as a passenger. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated being in your class! I rode the Ninja 250 that same night and felt pretty comfortable on it, so I'll be sure to come by to one of your classes later this summer! Thanks to you and Gwen once more for the awesome class!! Sarah D. - June 2006
  • Rick & Gwen, Both of you are great instructors-Thank You! You both have incredible knowledge and communicate well. Rosco R. - July 2006
  • Rick & Gwen, Your class came highly recommended and I felt very good about the quality of instruction, clarity, and emphasis on safety and on good techniques. Linda V. - July 2006
  • Rick & Gwen, You both do an outstanding job! A person would be hard pressed to find ANY better instructors!. Rhett Q. - August 2006
  • Rick, Thank you for having my brother in your classes. He finally understood that without this class, he was going to add to the statistics of over 40 riders that don't have good experiences in motorcycling. He saw the light and just may be a better rider now. Thanks again! Will M. - August 2006
  • Rick, I really enjoyed the class. After all these years of riding I learned some great new techniques and was able to find some of my bad habits to change. The safe riding techniques learned will save someone's life someday. Scott F. - August 2006
  • Rick & Gwen - I enjoyed your class. It taught me and helped me learn better techniques and I feel safer riding. Thank you. Wes M. - September 2006
  • Rick & Gwen. I just want to say I had a excellent time going through your course, both in the classroom and on the range. I learned a great deal of information from the 16 hours I spent participating in your program. I have always wanted to get my motorcycle endorsement and now I have achieved that goal. Many, many thanks for the time both of you spent working with me. To anybody wanting to get their motorcycle endorsement, I say "Just Do It" and take the course, you won't regret it. It is time and money well spent. Both of the coaches really care about their students. Now I can ride knowing that I will be knowledgeable and safe. Thank you very much. Jeff D. - October 2006
  • Rick & Kim, I never had ridden before, and feel that your course made me feel very equal to those who have already ridden before. I enjoyed your class and you were both great! Glenna R. - October 2006
  • Rick, Your class was extremely well done, especially for novice riders. Both you and Kim took all the time necessary to assist and instruct all of the course participants. Your course was also really comprehensive. Great job! Gary R. - October 2006
  • Rick & Kim, A note to thank you again for the class; I had the opportunity to ride my bike the weekend after the class and using what I learned really helped to make me a more confident rider. Probably my biggest fear, and biggest challenge, prior to the class was cornering. Last weekend I was able to put what I learned to the test. No more cornering at a much lower speed; and I always look forward to where I am going. In my mind I remember the words: "if you look at the ground that is where you will end up". No more looking at the ground. My husband thanks you; he noticed the difference in my riding ability and so you have put his mind to rest; no more looking in his mirror to make sure I'm still on the road. Again many thanks for your time and knowledge. Laura L. - November 2006
  • Rick/Gwen, Many thanks for this weekend. It was a eye opener and an opportunity to have fun. I will be back at some point and I will recommend your class to folks. You guys do a wonderful job and Rick I love your sense of humor. I hopefully will see you guys again. Take care, Diana B. March 2007
  • Hi Rick and Kim: Thanks so much for your kindness, patience and knowledge. I truly enjoyed the class. Your encouragement kept me going despite the wet, cold weather and the information my brain was trying to absorb. I learned a lot and even made new friends. I must tell you the class was exhausting, trying to learn everything. However, I'm so glad I was able to take the class. Your knowledge will help me be the best motorcycle rider I can be. It was a pleasure to meet both of you and I will continue to recommend this class. Thanks again! Paula S. April 2007
  • Hi Rick, Deb & I loved the class and got so much out of it. The constant encouragement, the total lack of yelling when we did not follow instructions, and the reminders that the bike I was on "was not for sale!" made for a perfect learning experience. I feel like I now have the foundation to start building my skills as a motorcyclist. No matter what anyone says, 45 minutes is NOT enough time for lunch in Hoquiam! (Deb wanted me to tell you this). As I said as I was leaving, the entertainment factor is worth the price of admission. Keep up the great work and we will be sure to stop and say hi in our two wheeled journeys. Tim & Deb R. August 2007
  • Rick and Phil, I just wanted to say to everyone I was able to get in this course that was to be the last course training of the year of 2007 AND IT WAS FLIPPING FANTASTIC!!!! I just got a Harley and I wanted to ride it. But, I wanted to learn how to ride it. So a very close friend was telling me about your safety course and I decided to do it even though I was scared beyond belief not knowing what to expect. When I got there you guys made me feel comfortable about just learning how to properly ride and to look for the hazards that are out there. People who take this course need to realize it is the BEST ONE AND SAFEST ONE YOU WILL EVER TAKE IN YOUR LIFE!!!! I am telling all of my family and friends about it and now they are asking me more about it and I am telling them it was a mind opener on how to be safe. Now I know that when I am going to Sturgis in 2008 I will be properly safe and can ride with confidence and enjoy a part of the world that cars and people can not enjoy unless you are on a motorcycle. Thank you for the care you guys put into this class. Ross F. November 2007
  • Rick and Kim, I just wanted to thank you guys for an excellent class. It was tough letting go of some bad riding habits which I developed over the last 25 years riding dirt bikes.I bought a Harley and because of your class I am very confident in my riding ability. Thanks again!!! Don W. March 2008
  • Rick and Phil, (and the shadows) I wanted to give just an awesome statement to add to your website, but it's all been said. I'll just say this to everyone, EVERYTHING IN THESE TESTIMONIALS ARE TRUE!!!! I got to add more....even though it's already been said. These guys will work you through everything, they care for your safety and it shows. At times there is a lot of information coming at you, but the way it's presented, it all comes into play at the right time. THIS IS A MUST TAKE COURSE!! Thanks GHME - I know I'm going to be a better rider because of you all. Pam M. April 2008
  • Dear Mr. Rick, Just wanted to drop you a note to say hi and to tell you I went riding this Sunday for the first time since your class. The weather was great and I took the scooter down to Alki beach (hearing your voice in my head "cover the clutch" even though I don't have one). I wanted to tell you how much more aware and confident I have become. I really appreciate the time you guys took with all of us, it was fun and I learned a lot. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Also, I've already gone down to look at bikes, feeling the difference between a bike and a scooter makes me feel like the bike would be safer. Thanks again for everything. Esther S. April 2008
  • Rick and Kim, You were awesome! You were very patient and understanding of my fears yet at the same time, you encouraged me to keep trying. The course presentation was excellent. I learned so much and had fun! I feel this course was so important both for riding skills and building confidence. I will recommend this course to every rider that I can. Your range sessions had very clear instructions. Even if I made a mistake neither of you yelled or made any derogatory comments. You repeated instructions as needed and demonstrated the proper procedure. I am so glad I took this class. Sarah P. May 2008
