Pricing Off-season: November to April rates: $79-$99 per night On-season: May to October rates: $89-$115 per night I’m definitely coming back here, you tell yourself as you sip a glass of champagne from the private deck of your cottage at the Harbor Resort. Inside you have music playing on the stereo as another serene sunset approaches. In a moment you will get up and take your fresh baked halibut out of the oven and enjoy dinner. Afterwards you take a stroll down the pier and enjoy the sights of Float 20. A seal’s sleek head breaks the surface of the glassy water, as he calmly swims around the harbor looking for his evening meal. The ever-present gulls dip and soar through the air, riding the salt breezes, the same breezes that propel the sailboat that is slowly making its way back to its mooring next to the houseboats. All cottages have a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a front room with a couch that also folds out into a bed. The large bay windows look out past the private deck to the ocean and snow capped Olympic mountains in the distance. There is cable television, of course, along with a stereo. While the rates are based on double occupancy, the cottages actually have sleeping space for four or five people. Adults cost $8 per night extra and youngsters age five and older $4 per night. Of course all accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because of their popularity, last year you had to make reservations about two weeks in advance in order to assure there would be a cottage available the date you want.
