Some people who read this page do not feel I believe in God... These people change their minds after they read the novel... To believe in God does not mean you have to be blind. Nor does it mean you have to believe everything the man in the pulpit tells you. When I was much younger and in the third grade (I am 60 now), I asked a Lutheran minister in our community at the time to explain the first few pages of Genesis to me. He asked me with a smile what it meant to me. I told him and he quit smiling, looking very troubled. "You really are too young to understand", he replied, and that was the end of the discussion. (When I was in the sixth grade, I was tested extensively at McKinley school in Santa Barbara, CA by a special team sent in by UCLA. The findings were I had the reading comprehension and retention of a sophomore in college.) Not to be put off so easily, third graders rarely are, I asked the Catholic priest in Cle Elum WA about Genesis (Father Ed at the time) and he equated the plurality of God and "gods" to the Trinity. As far as the "Giants" were concerned, he stumbled all around that adlibbing and then told me I should be studying about Jesus and not be so intrigued by the Old Testament. Now my grandfather was a very religious man who traveled from Protestant church to Protestant church of all denominations. Sometimes I went with him just to listen to him argue with the minister's after they gave their sermons. Looking back, I realize now my grandfather was a genius, and so did those ministers... He always maintained Jesus was the Anchor. This was the extent of my religious upbringing. In 1968 I died...
This is now called the "near death experience", for if you really died, you could not be here, right !?!? Wrong! Without going into any of the details, I was allowed to return to my body to finish my work. Believe me when I say you have never felt a love like that in your life unless you have also had the experience.
I was never the same afterwards. I went from agnostic to believer in one fell swoop. Material things no longer meant as much to me. I went far out of my way to help other people and still do. I pray all the time... and I pray for the world.
The dreams started then and some would call this out of body time traveling. I simply call it dreams... The same ones occur over and over until they come true and pass from my "sleep" patterns. What is the result of this?
The Mobius Mandate, third novel of the series was the first I wrote, and I had no intention of writing a novel. I was sailing as a chief engineer in the merchant marine at the time and on one trip we pulled out of Seattle for the Bering Sea at night. The crew was standing 6 and 6 watches, which meant every six hours we were on duty. The captain (Earl Mitchel of Vashon Island, WA) and I shared watches, and so we turned in at 0000 hours. I started having these out of body type dreams. At 0600 hours I started writing on a legal pad. Twenty three days later when we tied back up in Seattle, 458 pages of manuscript had been produced by a non-writer. There were only six pieces of writing paper left on the vessel Aleut Packer...
Written in fictional form, these books are designed to make the reader have fun thinking. They are designed so you can ask questions and use the most precious gift you have ever been given by God. That gift is common sense and your mind.
Many books have been written on religion, and in truth if you have found God as I have, you really do not need organized religion. Oraganized religion will help you find God if you have not gone through the process I did. There are many links to this site to assist you, and all have merit regardless of your age. Be sure to check them out...

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am a diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circling flight;
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep...
