When we speak to each other, face to face, we rely on many non-verbal and auditory cues to convey and interpret each other's message. A sometimes serious drawback to email communication is the loss of body language, vocal inflections, etc. As a result, savvy emailers have learned to use other methods to more clearly communicate their messages.
