The East County Coalition (ECC) was formed in November, 1993, and incorporated as a nonprofit in December, 1993.
The four chambers of commerce of east Grays Harbor County (Montesano, Elma, McCleary and Oakville) are members; and the directors are delegates from each of the member chambers.
In 1995 the ECC received a $10,000 grant to prepare a tourism brochure for the east Grays Harbor County region. The four-color "Spend a Day on Your Way" brochure comes with inserts whose topics include:
A Calendar of Events, Historic Sites, Tours, Lodging, Dining, Antique and Collectible Shops, Parks and Recreation.
