Title: Senior Systems Analyst / Systems Designer / Consultant
"Renaissance 'Man' extraordinaire"
"In elementary school I learned about the Renaissance Man and thought that sounded like an interesting career. (I know a little bit about a lot of things . . . )
"Years later (a l-o-n-g time ago), at a business workshop a lecturer described a computer programmer 'at work' . . . with 'his' feet on the desk, staring out the window. Sounds better and better . . . ."

One of my favorite clients described me as a "gadfly":
"Some people say a corporate gadfly should be paid three times as much because they keep the business to its real purpose. Corporate gadflies are usually short-lived, but {Janis has} managed to endure."
Take a look at my Qualifications Summary.

In an industry noted for its technicality, what makes us special is our human orientation. Good business systems and good software applications require the commitment of all the players - from managers to end users. Sometimes touchy-feely is a good thing. We also use an "organic" process of development, often taking baby steps to develop working components before implementing a full-blown system.
In our opinion, systems that work are sustainable. Focusing on human issues with a people orientation helps ensure sustainability.

Of course, "official" documents like Qualifications Summaries don't tell much about the "whole" person. You might also like to see some of the other stuff I've created.
Or, take a little time to browse through the beginnings of a personal online photo album. And don't forget the magic of humor.
And, of course, you can learn about a person by learning about their interests in the outer world.

If you have some spare time and want to do a little reading, here are some highly-recommended (by us, of course) books in Our Library.
