This one is a Lithograph and a Very Nice Picture of 4 Men on a Cinderella Type Coach.  It measures 1 1/2 Inches.  Victorian Picture Button?

This is one of my Favorite of the Gift Buttons from my Cousin Barbara.  There is a dent on the top rim and the back will need to be cleaned, but just look at that Beautiful Picture!  Convex Plastic Cover.  (There is another word for the Plastic that is used for the fronts of these, right?)  It measures 1 3/4 Inches across and will soon Grace my Tray of Children.   Pretty sure this is a Litho...there is a tiny section of paper missing from one of the inside edges.

This is a Beautiful Button, but I have to wonder if the Plastic Faux Tortoise Ring is Original.  It doesn't show up in my pics, but it looks like the edge was pried down to accomodate this ring and I can see remnants of glue, although it doesn't appear to have been done yesterday.  The edges of the plastic are rough and nicked. The inside frame around the lady's Head is off center.  It has what appear to be faded hand painted design elements around it.  The Lady is, I am fairly certain, a Litho, under Plastic Cover.  I would like to put her on my head tray, but worry that it might be a make-up, or at the very least, an 'added to.'

The Back needs a lot of cleaning, but will no doubt, still be quite rough.  Button measures approximately 1 7/8 Inches.

Please excuse my digital flash glare.  Just had to share this Precious Gift that my youngest grandson, Joshua, picked out for his 'Mimi'.   The Large Button is the Pendulum and the Clock has the Most Wonderful, Rich, TICK-TOCK!

I will be sharing some Gift Buttons with you this weekend also.  Have Questions, Questions, Questions!  :-)

This Wonderful Button measures 2 1/2 Inches across!   The Face is covered with a slightly convex, heavy glass, which doesn't show up in my picture at all.  Would this be considered a Watch Crystal?

Back of Button.  Steel?  Tin?  Aluminum?   I am trying to determine if this is a Studio Button also.  I have gone through my Studio Button Book, and while I found some similar to Buttons I will be sharing throughout the weekend, I found nothing like this.  The paper Picture inside has a Textured Look to it...Definitely Older!

Now we all know who this is.  Again, please excuse the digital flash glare.  I have looked & looked at this with my loupe and am Almost convinced that George is a Reverse painting on Glass.  Up close, the details are finite.  He measures 1 1/2 Inches across.  There is a minute shave of glass missing from the right edge and through this I can see that the dark brown background is, just that, a background.  I am assuming that George would also be considered a Watch Crystal.  Studio?  The back implies to me that it is not as old as I wish it was, but I want other opinions.  :-)

Not a 2 Piece...rather the Picture & Glass are Inset.   You can see see a metal backing  through the shank hole.  I tapped inside with a pin and it is either metal, or the back of the glass, painted over?  What say you BB's?
