For Windows 95 & 98
Step 1: Double click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop to open it up.
Step 2: Double click on the 'Dial-up Networking' icon to open it up. (See Screen shot above.)
Step 3: In this window you should have the 'Make New Connection' icon and at least one other icon. The other icon is the name of the connection you use to connect to Techline. Point your mouse curser to the connection and hit the right mouse button once and then select the 'Properties' option by clicking on it once with your left mouse button. (See screen shot above.)
Step 4: You should now see a new window that looks similar to the one above. Under the 'Telephone number' area enter in 249-2701. You may want to put the 360 in front of the phone number to prepare for the phone companies upcoming change to the 10 digit phone number. If you have call waiting then you will need to enter in *70, before the phone number.
Once you have changed the phone number click on the OK button and then close your 'Dial-up Networking' window.
